Gratitude Garden Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how AnySoft handles information in Gratitude Garden, a personal gratitude journaling and garden habit app for iOS.

Gratitude Garden is designed to keep your garden data on your device. The app does not use an AnySoft account system, AnySoft backend, advertising network, third-party analytics SDK, crash analytics SDK, or cloud sync service.

This policy applies only to Gratitude Garden. Other AnySoft websites, products, or services may have different privacy practices.

Information Handled by the App

Gratitude Garden may handle the following information on your device:

• Gratitude entries, including text you type and transcripts created from optional speech input.
• Scores and short scoring reasons generated for gratitude entries.
• Garden data, including plant names, plant styles, scores, levels, care status, and creation or update dates.
• App settings, including whether daily reminders are enabled and the reminder time you choose.
• Permission status handled by iOS, such as whether microphone, speech recognition, or notification access is allowed or denied.

Gratitude entries are free-form. The app does not ask you to enter sensitive information, but you choose what to write or say.

How Information Is Used

Gratitude Garden uses app data to:

• Save your gratitude entries and garden progress.
• Score submitted gratitude entries.
• Update plant health, levels, and daily care status.
• Apply local missed-day garden rules.
• Schedule optional local reminders.
• Convert optional spoken gratitude into text.

AnySoft does not receive your gratitude entries, plant data, scores, reminder settings, or permission status from the app.

Local Storage

Gratitude Garden stores app data locally on your device using Apple's app storage technologies.

If you use iCloud Backup or device backup features, Apple may include local app data in backups according to your iOS and iCloud settings. AnySoft does not control those Apple backup settings and does not receive the backup data.

Speech Input

Speech input is optional. You can always type a gratitude entry instead.

If you choose to use speech input, Gratitude Garden asks for microphone and speech recognition permission. The app captures audio only while you are recording so it can convert speech into text. Depending on your device, language, and iOS settings, Apple's Speech Recognition service may process that audio to provide the transcript.

Gratitude Garden does not save audio recordings. If you submit a spoken gratitude entry, the app saves the resulting transcript as a gratitude entry on your device.

You can revoke microphone or speech recognition permission at any time in iOS Settings.

On-Device AI Scoring

When you submit a typed or transcribed gratitude entry, Gratitude Garden uses Apple's Foundation Models framework to score the entry with Apple's on-device language model. The score is used to update the selected plant.

AnySoft does not receive the entry text, prompt, score, or model output from this scoring process. The app stores the resulting score and short reason locally with the gratitude entry.

Notifications

Daily reminders are optional. If you enable reminders, Gratitude Garden asks iOS for notification permission and schedules a local notification at the time you choose.

Reminder settings are stored locally on your device. Gratitude Garden does not send reminder settings to AnySoft or any server.

You can disable reminders in the app or revoke notification permission in iOS Settings.

Data Not Collected by AnySoft

Gratitude Garden does not collect or transmit the following to AnySoft:

• Account information, such as a username, password, email address, or phone number.
• Location data.
• Contacts, photos, camera data, or calendar data.
• Advertising identifiers.
• Usage analytics.
• Crash analytics.
• Payment information.
• Health data requested by the app.
• Biometric data.

Gratitude Garden does not sell personal information and does not track you across apps or websites.

Sharing

AnySoft does not share Gratitude Garden app data with advertisers, analytics providers, data brokers, or other third parties because AnySoft does not receive that app data.

Apple may process information when you use Apple-controlled services such as Speech Recognition, notification permissions, iCloud Backup, or device backup. Apple's handling of that information is governed by Apple's privacy practices and your Apple device settings.

If you contact AnySoft for support, AnySoft may process the information you voluntarily provide in that support request only to respond to you and operate support.

Retention and Deletion

Gratitude Garden keeps local app data on your device until you remove it.

You can:

• Use the app's Restart Garden option to clear gratitude entries and plant progress.
• Disable daily reminders in the app.
• Revoke microphone, speech recognition, or notification permissions in iOS Settings.
• Delete the app from your device to remove local app data from that device.
• Manage iCloud Backup or device backups in your Apple settings if you want to remove backed-up copies controlled by Apple.

Because AnySoft does not receive Gratitude Garden app data, there is generally no server-side Gratitude Garden app data for AnySoft to delete.

Children

Gratitude Garden is not directed to children under 13. AnySoft does not knowingly collect personal information from children through Gratitude Garden. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has entered information into the app, you can remove the local data by deleting the app or using the available in-app reset controls.

Security

Gratitude Garden relies on iOS app sandboxing, device security, and Apple's local storage protections to help protect data stored on your device. No method of storing information is perfectly secure, so you should use your device passcode and Apple account security features to help protect your data.

Changes to This Policy

AnySoft may update this Privacy Policy if Gratitude Garden's data practices change. If the policy changes, AnySoft will update the effective date above and make the updated policy available.
